A Cleansing Prayer of Forgiveness
Please Forgive Me
Father in Heaven,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of your forgiveness. Father please forgive me for grieving your Holy Spirit. I humbly come before your throne of grace and ask you to blot out all of my sins that have separated me from you {call known sins out by name}.
Forgive me Father for all of the years that I selfishly lived for myself. Forgive me for every idle word that I have ever spoken against myself or another person. Help me to forgive myself for the mistakes I cannot go back and undo. Expose any unknown or hidden sin within me and in the generations of my family. Wash me thoroughly from all wickedness, shame and guilt. Deliver me from every area of bondage and oppression that is a result of my own sin or the sins of my parents.
I Forgive Those Who Have Hurt Me
“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

I acknowledge that your word says I must forgive in order to be forgiven. As an act of obedience to your word, I choose to forgive every person who has ever hurt me, at any stage of my life. {Speak names out loud}
At your feet, I surrender all feelings of Hurt, Pain, Unforgiveness, Bitterness, Disappointment, Offense, Resentment, Anger and Hate in the name of Jesus. Fill my heart with love and compassion for those who have hurt me. Help me to see them through your eyes.
Heal My Hurt
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12 KJV
Father, bind up my wounds and heal my broken heart. Heal my thought process. Cleanse my mind from painful memories. Replace them with new memories and healing thoughts.
Help me to place my identity in you and not in any harsh words that have been spoken against me. Help me to walk in my purpose and your will for my life.
Save Those Who Have Hurt Me
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Matthew 5:44-45
Father I pray for my enemies and those who have hurt me. Reveal yourself to them and save their souls. Open their eyes to their own sin and complacency in this world’s system.I pray they are born again and baptized in your Holy Spirit.
Grant me wisdom, understanding and compassion for my enemies and those who have deeply wounded me. Remind me that our fight is not against human beings but against spiritual wickedness in high places. In Jesus name, Amen.
