What is God’s Food & Medical System?
Simply put, God’s Food & Medical System is His Creation. In the beginning of time, God designed and created this incredible system to divinely manufacture food, water, medicine and natural resources from the earth for the sustenance and wellness of all life.
God’s Food & Medical System is supernatural and can never be duplicated by man. His system operates and functions far beyond anything our human minds could ever comprehend. Every aspect of this System has purpose and works in perfect harmony to continuously provide for all life.
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”
Romans 1:20-21 KJV
A World System Opposed To God’s Creation
There are two Food and Medical Systems available to Humanity today; God’s Food & Medical System and Babylon’s Food & Drug System.
Babylon’s Food & Drug System is an extremely profitable and corrupt system of manmade “foods” and “medications”. These toxic, synthetic foods and drugs work against our bodies. On the contrary, Our Creator’s living foods and medicines from seed bearing herbs and trees are perfectly tailored to work with our living bodies, not against them.
Our Creator knows first hand what foods and medicines our living bodies require to function properly after all, He created us in His own image! (Genesis 1:26) Herbs and Trees serve as God’s Preventative Healthcare & Medical plan for all life. Through a Divine Cycle of Water, Earth and Sun, our Heavenly Father consistently provides all life with the perfect diet of nutrient dense living foods, created to nourish our living bodies. Plant and tree foods fight disease, strengthen our immune systems and keep our living bodies functioning properly. In addition to produce, many plant and tree leaves, bark, flowers and roots contain powerful medicinal properties capable of treating, managing and healing a wide variety of health issues in both humans and animals.
I hope you will take a walk with me as I share the studies and experiences the Lord has led us through over the years. All information shared on this site, comes from our current understanding of the scriptures, information from trusted sources and our own personal experiences. My sincere hope and prayer is to inspire God’s people to come out of Babylon’s Food & Drug System and get back to our Creator’s intended ways of Biblical eating, drinking and healing.
The sad truth is that most professing followers of Christ today have unknowingly placed their allegiance and trust in Babylon’s Food & Drug System. In spite of our ignorance and misplaced trust, God lovingly continues to draw our attention back to His provisions. We must remember God’s Food & Medical System is the Original, Babylon’ s Food & Drug System is the Counterfeit. With that in mind, let’s begin with the Original; Our Creator’s Food & Medical System.
The Origin of Food & Medicine
God is the Creator and Sustainer of all life. He is also the very first Gardener. Agriculture and Healthcare was His idea and perfect plan. His most perfect Creation is all around us and spans across the entire world, with many different ecosystems, landscapes, climates and various types of wildlife, trees and plants.
The origin of God’s Food & Medical System is documented in Genesis Chapter One. Over a period of six days, God spoke all things into existence. On the seventh day {the Sabbath Day}, He rested from all of His work.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2 KJV
Day One
On the first day, God created light and separated the light from the darkness. He named the light day and the darkness night.
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:3-4 KJV
Day Two
On the second day, God created the Firmament to divide the waters above from the waters below. He named the firmament “Heaven”.
“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Genesis 1:6-8 KJV
Day Three
On the third day, God gathered the waters into one place and instructed the dry land to appear. He named the dry land “Earth” and the gathering of the waters, he named “Seas”. He then commanded the earth to bring forth grass, and seed bearing herbs & trees.
“Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.” Genesis 1:9-11 KJV
“And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.”
Genesis 1:12-13 KJV
Day Four
One the fourth day, God created lights within in the firmament for signs, seasons, days, years and to give light to the earth. He made the stars and two great lights, the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night. He set the sun, moon and stars inside the Firmament of the Heaven.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Genesis 1:14-16 KJV
“And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”
Genesis 1:17-19 KJV
Day Five
On day five, God commanded the waters to abundantly bring forth sea creatures and the birds of the air to fly openly within the firmament. God blessed them and instructed them to be fruitful and multiply.
“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:20-21 KJV
“And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.”
Genesis 1:22-23 KJV
Day Six
On the sixth day of Creation, God commanded the earth to bring forth various kinds of land animals.
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:24-25 KJV
On the same day, God created the first man from the dust of the earth {Genesis 2:7}. After God created Man, He blessed them and instructed them to rule over and care for His Creation.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26-27 KJV
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28 KJV
The Original Diet
After God was finished creating all things, He formerly introduced mankind and animals to their very first diet of seed bearing herbs and trees.
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.” And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:29:31 KJV
As we can see from genesis Chapter 1, The Original Diet provided to humanity and animals was a shared diet living herbs and trees, consisting of an innumerable variety of vegetables, grains, fruits, nuts and seeds. Today, this is known as a “Plant Based Diet”.
God gave the animals a diet of every green herb but to humans, God put restrictions in place giving humans specifically a diet of only those herbs and trees that bear seed.
However, after the world wide Flood in Genesis Chapter 9, God altered The Original Diet, allowing humans to eat animal flesh in addition to seed bearing herbs and trees.
The Beautiful Cycle of Life
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV
In God’s Food & Medical System every living thing returns back to the other in a beautiful life cycle, connecting all living things {grasses, plants, trees, humans, animals and creeping things} back to one another and back to the earth. Herbs and Trees grow out of the earth providing food, medicine and natural resources for humans, animals and creeping things, who also originate from the earth. When seeds, plants, humans, animals and creeping things die, all go back into the earth from which we came.
“All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust.” Ecclesiastes 3:20. KJV
How God’s Food & Medical System Works
Water
“Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:13-14 KJV
Water is Life
Our Creator programmed His Food & Medical System to regenerate seed bearing herbs and trees from the earth, through an ongoing cycle of water, earth and sun. Each one needs the other in order to accomplish their purpose.
The process begins with water. God supernaturally sends us water through a divine irrigation system that disperses water in the forms of rain or snow from above or from mist and springs that well up from under the earth. This incredible system plays a vital role in the production of plant food and medicine.
Without water, the life within a seed could not come forth and produce a sprout. Once a seed has produced a sprout, it continues to depend on water to grow and transform into a plant. As roots begin to develop within the soil, they depend on water to transport nutrients up into the plant. Plants are living and require water to grow and stay alive. Without any water, the soil dries out, the leaves begin to wither and eventually the plant dies.
“And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.”
Genesis 2:5-6 KJV
My husband often asks people this question: “What would happen if we gave a plant soda instead of water? The answer is always, “the plant would die”. The same is true for humans and animals. We were designed to drink pure, unaltered living water to nourish and hydrate our living bodies.
Water is life. Everything alive needs water to live. Regularly drinking good quality water is vital because it performs very important functions in the body such as: transporting oxygen and nutrients to our cells, eliminating waste through urination, cleansing and energizing the body, removing toxins through sweat, and assisting in healthy bowel movements. {this is not an exhaustive list!}. Surely, you can see what could go wrong if we don’t drink enough water.
Here are some interesting facts about dehydration from the book Alternative Cures:
“Water Flushes the Kidneys: It’s hard to believe that drinking more water would help fluid retention. Isn’t the problem that you already have too much fluid in your body? Well, when you're dehydrated because your’e drinking too little water to meet your body’s needs, your kidneys may decide to conserve water. This is one cause of bloating and fluid retention, says Betty Sy Go, M.D., a naturally oriented doctor in Bellevue, Washington. To stop your kidneys from treating your body like a reservoir, she recommends drinking 2 quarts of water a day, or eight-8 ounce glasses.”
This world’s system has given us very few options for obtaining the life-giving water God intended for us to have. Throughout the years man has taken control of it, distorted it, and has used it for financial gain. Water in Plastic bottles and filtering “toilet to tap” water has become our new normal.
For over a decade now, I have researched water as well as a number of water filtration systems. The sad reality is that our accessibility to good quality fresh water is hard to come by and requires a lot of effort and research on our part to obtain it. Tap water is the most accessible water supply that we have. Although I am very thankful to have running water, most tap water here in the U.S. is not safe for human or animal consumption.
Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants use chemicals such as Chlorine to remove contaminants like bacteria in tap water. As a result, Chlorine among many other dangerous chemicals end up in the tap water that comes through our faucets. Although Chlorine will kill the bacteria, it will not remove certain contaminants such as pesticides, insecticides and prescription drugs in fecal matter and urine that gets recycled through processing. Some examples of common prescription drugs in tap water include: Steroids, Antibiotics, Anti Depressants, Birth Control Pills (Estrogen) and Blood pressure medications.
There are many chemicals in our tap water. If you have ever owned a Berkey than you may remember noticing the long list of chemicals on their packaging. Many water filters on the market today do not remove all of these chemicals. Even boiling does not remove them.
Currently, we are using Pro One gravity Filtration System. To give you an idea of what’s going on in our water supply, here are test results of the contaminants that Pro One filters remove: Gravity Series Lab Reports
Here are some interesting facts about the damaging effects of drinking chlorinated water from the book Healing Through Nutrition:
“Drinking water is commonly chlorinated to kill any germs it may contain, but chlorination may not be entirely without risk. A study found that the longer people drank chlorinated water, the greater their risk of getting bladder cancer. This finding is consistent with the results of other studies, which found that chlorine disinfection produces toxic by-products. It suggests that safe sources of of non-chlorinated drinking water are preferable to water that has been disinfected with chlorine.”
For many years we lived on filtered tap water. However, in recent years we’ve switched to fresh spring water instead and we definitely taste and feel the difference. This is because fresh spring water contains a number of beneficial minerals and trace elements that support a number of important bodily functions.
We have been blessed with several fresh water springs in our State and neighboring state, that are free to the Public. Every month, we gather our water jugs and take a road trip to fill up about 70 gallons of fresh spring water. We then filter the water just incase, before drinking it. We are so thankful for the Churches and Land Owners who have supplied their Spring Water free or for a small fee to the Public. I was able to find springs near us here. If you live in SC or passing thru, God’s Healing Acre Springs is a good one to visit, it does get busy but it’s free and open to the public everyday.
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.”
James 5:7 KJV
Water is a Blessing
In addition to supplying all life with food and drink, water is necessary for daily tasks like; bathing, cooking, making tea or coffee, gardening, washing fruits and vegetables, dishes and clothes. It is truly hard to imagine life without water! On top of its many physical uses, water holds Spiritual significance. Biblically, water can be a symbol of divine blessing, judgement, or purification.
Throughout the scriptures and in our own lives, we see God has blessed all nations with water. He is compassionate and caring towards all people, regardless of nationality or religious beliefs. In Matthew Chapter 5, Jesus reminds us that God provides rain for the righteous and the unrighteous. He encourages us to emulate our Creator by showing love and compassion towards all people and nations, even blessing and praying for our enemies.
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45 KJV
“Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: Which the clouds do drop and distill upon man abundantly.”
Job 36:26-28 KJV
In Acts Chapter 14, we see another example demonstrating God’s love and indifference for all of humanity. Just like Jesus, the Apostle Paul used the evidence of Creation to win souls and reveal God as Creator to his audience. In this case, Paul was preaching to a polytheistic nation {a nation that believed in many gods} that did not know the God of Creation. Paul used their provisions of rain and food to point them to the true and living God as their provider.
“And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” Acts 14:17 KJV
Water as Divine Judgement
While God is kind and gracious to all of Humanity, He has and will use water as a divine judgement. God has set rules and guidelines in place for His people to follow. Rebellion against God’s Commandments without true repentance not only has eternal consequences but also directly impacts how God provides in our lives. In Dueteronomy Chapter 11, God warns His people that a provision of rain is contingent upon their faithfulness and obedience to His commandments.
“And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you. Dueteronomy 11:13-17 KJV.
Whether we acknowledge it or not, all of Creation relies on God to send water to the earth. God can withhold the rains and bring drought to any place of His choosing. At His will and discretion, God uses Famine as a tool to lead His people to repentance. Famine humbles us and exposes our dependency on Him. Famine today may look different depending on our own life circumstances.
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.” Amos 8:11 KJV
“I also withheld the rain from you when the harvest was three months away. I sent rain on one city but withheld it from another. One field received rain; another without rain withered. People staggered from city to city for water to drink, but they were not satisfied; yet you did not return to Me”
Amos 4:7-8 KJV
Another great example where we see water used as a divine judgement, is the account of the world wide flood recorded in Genesis Chapters 6-9.
After God created all things, the first humans disobeyed Him, bringing sin into the world. Humanity abandoned God and became extremely corrupted. The wickedness of humanity grieved the heart of God so much that He regretted creating them. As a result, God sent a world wide flood erasing all life at that time, off the face of the earth.
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them” Genesis 6:5-7. {In this Chapter God also reduced the lifespan of humans to 120 years. Up until this point, humans lived hundreds of years}
The Bible tells us that the eyes of the LORD search the earth, looking for men whose hearts are loyal to Him. Before God sent the rains that would destroy all life, He searched the hearts of humanity and only one man found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” 2 Chronicles 16:9.
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” Genesis 6:8.
It amazes me that out of all of humanity alive at that time, only one man found favor with God. Although the Bible is not specific on exactly how many people would have been alive at the time of the flood, research suggests the number could have been pretty significant.
In a world full of evil, God saw Noah’s heart and preserved His life as well as his wife, his son’s, their wives, and various kinds of clean and unclean animals and creeping things. To survive the flood, God commanded Noah to build an enormous boat that would carry them through.
“And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. Genesis 7:1-5
Water for Baptism
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
John 3:15 KJV
The worldwide flood not only displays the power of God, it also carries eschatological symbolism and is a prophetic picture of salvation and baptism in Jesus Christ.
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the long suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.” 1 Peter 3:18-22 KJV
Creation Obeys God
In our Modern world today, man controls much of the water supply. Man holds hostage the water that God gave us freely for their own financial gain. Man also attempts to “play God” by manufacturing and manipulating snow and rainfall through the process of weather modification. However, the Bible reminds us that Our Creator reigns supreme over His Creation and over man. At the end of the day, man can only do what God allows. Ultimately, our Creator maintains total authority over the clouds, rains, snow, springs and seas.
We see a perfect example of this is in Job Chapter 38. Out of a whirlwind, God directly speaks to Job and through a series of rhetorical questions, God reminds Job and us of His sovereignty over Creation.
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, “Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Job 38:1-5 KJV
Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? Job 38:8-11 KJV
Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? Job 38:16 KJV
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? Job 38:22-23 KJV
Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? Job 38:25-28 KJV
Whoa! Surely we can see our Creator is definitely in control and intimately involved in every facet of His Creation.
Earth
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:11-12 KJV
The Earth Produces Food, Medicine & Natural Resources
At home and in travel, I always notice various types of “weeds” popping out of the ground. Maybe you’ve noticed them in your own yard or throughout your neighborhood? Weeds seem to grow everywhere even in unexpected places like cracks in concrete, or even in sand at the beach. They grow all by themselves and live out their life cycle without any human intervention. Unless of course, we kill them off with chemicals, but even then they always reappear. This is because God commanded the earth to produce them and the earth obeys God.
At the time of Creation, God commanded the dry land to appear out of the waters and He named the dry land “earth”. The earth as we have been taught to know, is not exactly the same earth as described in the Bible. Our natural minds, have been conditioned since childhood to believe that earth is a planet somewhere in outer space. However, Biblically, earth is simply the dry land, the dirt, the very ground we stand on.
“And God said, “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:9-10 KJV
God created all things from water and earth. Out of the waters, God brought forth the earth. Out of the earth, God brought forth every living thing. Earth and water together, bring forth grasses and many kinds of seed bearing herbs and trees that provide various kinds of foods and medicines.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:9-11 KJV
Earth is so much more amazing than we realize! Aside from providing all life with food and medicine, the earth provides humans and animals with an abundance of natural resources and raw materials such as clay. In Bible days, clay was used to make earthenware vessels for food, water and wine storage, dishes, decorative pottery, bricks and tablets.
“But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”
Isaiah 64:8 KJV
We Are Clay
The very humbling reality is that we are nothing more than clay. God made our physical bodies from the dust of the ground, but it is His breath of life, that keeps us alive. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 KJV
God created us from the dust of the earth. Our earthen bodies need daily connection with the earth through what we eat and how we live. In our modern world of synthetic everything, most people lack genuine connection with earth. Here is an interesting fact about how even our barefoot need connection with the ground from the book Herbal Home Healthcare:
“Walk or jog barefooted on the lawn to get rid of static electricity in the bodying to allow new electrical vibration to come from the atmosphere. This is pure universal electricity that operates all the parts and organs of the body. It cannot come if static electricity is present, which should be grounded through the feet to keep a continual flow on hand.”
I used to tell my husband that if I died, I wanted to be cremated and have my ashes scattered over the ocean. At that time in my life, I didn’t understand God’s will and natural order is that when we die, our physical bodies should be buried back into earth from which we came.
“There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah.”Genesis 49:31 KJV
I’ll never forget the moment I realized that my life was not my own. I was about 23 years old, sitting in a church service and the Pastor said, “your life is not your own, you're not here for yourself”. At the time, that statement confused me and I began to question if my life isn’t my own then what am I here for?
The sobering reality is that we aren’t as important as we make ourselves out to be. Of course we are valuable in God’s eyes and we have purpose in this life but we are just clay in the hands of the potter and life ends when He takes away His breath of life.
“You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.” Psalm 104:29-30 KJV
Earth’s Provisions Paused & Continued
After the flood waters receded in Genesis Chapters 8 and 9, God established a covenant with Noah that He would never flood the entire earth again. We are reminded of this covenant every time we see a rainbow in the sky.
“I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.” 9:13-17 KJV
The flood temporarily paused the production of food from the earth. However, after the flood, God promised to continue providing plant food and medicine from the earth for as long as earth remains.
While The Earth Remains
“While the Earth remaineth,
seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
Genesis 8:22 KJV
“While the earth remaineth” means this present earth has an expiration date. Although God promised to restore food production after the flood, He was also making a prophetic declaration of earth’s final destruction.
In Romans Chapter 8, Paul tells us that the earth and all of creation is in bondage due to the corruption and sinfulness of humanity. This present earth is suffering so intensely, that Paul compares its condition to the pains of childbirth. The earth is groaning and eagerly awaiting the second coming of Jesus, and the final restoration of all things.
“For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” Romans 8:20-22 KJV
Earth Reserved For Fire
In 2 Peter Chapter 3, Peter compares the first earth’s destruction by the world wide flood to the final destruction of this present earth that will one day be judged by fire.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:5-7 KJV
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain;
And they will all grow old like a garment;
Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not fail.”
Hebrews 1:10-12 NKJV
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” 2 Peter 3:11-13 KJV
The Coming New Heaven and New Earth
The Bible tells us this present earth is decaying and passing away. However, all of creation and those in Christ can look forward to a restored Creation, where this current earth will not be remembered. An eternal future glory where God personally dwells with His people and His perfect order is restored. Can you imagine life without sin, suffering, death, or pain?
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4 KJV
A Restored Food & Medical System
In Ezekiel Chapter 47, the prophet Ezekiel is given a vision of a restored Creation and the restoration of God’s Food & Medical System. Water will still play a major role in the production of food as “The River of Life” will constantly proceed out from the throne of God and flow through the midst of the city.
Every month, trees along either side of the river will produce fruit for meat and the leaves of the fruit will be for medicine to heal the nations, restoring all life back to God’s intended diet of plant foods, plant medicine and living water.
“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12.
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:1-2 KJV
Thankfully, those who overcome by faith in Jesus, and keep His commandments and will be able to enter the gates of this incredible city and eat from the tree of life.
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14 KJV
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7 KJV
The Sun
“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
Genesis 1:16-18 KJV
The Sun According to Scripture
Sitting in the Sun and watching it rise and set are some of my favorite things to do. I love seeing our Creator’s hand at work in the Heavens. Not only is He the Master Gardener, He is also the Original and Master Painter. Day after day, our Creator decorates the Heavens with masterpiece after master piece of beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
In Psalm Chapter 19, David beautifully describes the sun as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, rejoicing as an athlete to run its course. God set a tabernacle for the sun within the firmament and like clockwork, every morning the sun rises and makes its circuit from one end of the heavens to the other.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handy work. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.” Psalm 19:1-6 KJV
The Author of Ecclesiastes (believed to be King Solomon, King David’s son) reiterates the exact daily circuit of the sun, describing it as actively moving across the heavens.
“The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose”. Ecclesiastes 1:5 KJV
This may be hard to digest, but according to these scriptures and others, the sun moves! Here is a great illustration of Creation according to the Bible. When Creation is drawn out as described in the scriptures, this is what it actually looks like. We can clearly see, God indeed set the sun inside of the firmament, as well as the moon and the stars, to give light to the entire world. When I first saw this, I was filled with the Holy Spirit and praising God for opening my eyes to this amazing truth that Babylon has hidden from us our entire lives. Through world leaders, Hollywood, and the tel-lie-vision, Satan has purposefully hidden the truth of God’s Creation from humanity and we have been greatly deceived.
In Joshua Chapter 10, we see yet another Biblical proof that the sun moves. At Joshua’s command, the sun and moon stood still for about a whole day.
“Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.” Joshua 10:12-13 KJV
The Sun and Food Production
“And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon”.
Deuteronomy 33:13-14 KJV
Aside from giving us heat, light and beautiful sunrises and sunsets, God uses the Sun to assist in the production of Food and Medicine for all life. Have you ever noticed a plant turning itself to the sun? This is because the plant needs the Sun’s light to produce Photosynthesis. Just as the sun powers electricity, the Sun is a vital energy source for all plants. One of our Homeschool Science Books, Observing God’s World, gives a brief summary of how the sun impacts the food production of a plant thru the process of photosynthesis:
“Every leaf is a complex mechanism working to produce food for the plant by means of a chemical process called Photosynthesis. Without the food produced by photosynthesis in the leaves, plants could not grow. And without plants, there would be no food for animals and people. All life depends on plants because plants are the only living things that can make their own food.”
“The World’s Greatest Doctor”
In addition to plants, Sunlight powers the human body as well through direct exposure and indirectly through eating herb and tree foods that have been grown in the sun. The sun is food for our cells and medicine for our bodies. Daily sun exposure stimulates the production of Vitamin D, which is necessary for important bodily functions.
Our amazing bodies are like supercomputers that need a daily charge from the sun {as well other sources such as a good night’s sleep and of course our Heavenly Father is our true power source}. Our bodies are pre- wired to day and night. In our modern world today, most of us spend the majority of our time indoors, surrounded by artificial lighting, invisible frequencies and radiation through technology and household appliances.
In the book, Natures Medicines, the authors break down how Ultraviolet rays from the sun affect the overall health and wellness of the human body.
“Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that our bodies can make on any reasonably sunny day. In fact, it’s called the sunshine vitamin because we can make all we need if we have enough sunlight hitting our skin. Ultraviolet rays from the sun convert one type of chemical compound in our skin to a substance called provitamin D3, which is then converted to Vitamin D3. This in turn is converted twice more, in the liver and kidneys, into active Vitamin D. In the body, vitamin D acts more like a hormone than a vitamin. In other words, it has a direct effect on organs such as the intestines, kidneys, and bones. The cells of these organs have receptor sites, similar to docking platforms, just for vitamin D. All of these organs respond to the vitamin by making calcium available for bone growth.”
The authors go on to explain the vital role Vitamin D plays in the body:
“Vitamin D helps to make calcium and phosphorus available in the blood that bathes the bones. As these essential minerals are deposited, the bones remineralize, or harden. It makes calcium available in three ways. In the intestines, it sends cells the message, “Absorb more calcium and phosphorus.” In the kidneys, the instruction is “Don’t pee out that calcium and phosphorus-recirculate it.” And when the blood levels of calcium begin to drop, vitamin D sends bone cells the message, “Start breaking down bone and get that calcium to the blood stream. A deficiency of Vitamin D in the body can lead to a variety of health issues, one being the development of Type 1 Diabetes. Without Vitamin D, cells in the Pancreas cannot produce insulin, the hormone that allows cells to make blood sugar.”
I believe humanity today does not fully understand or appreciate how amazing the human body truly is. As I stated earlier, the human body is similar to a supercomputer but far superior. In fact, the human body was the very first operating system. The human body has been preprogrammed to clean, heal and protect itself. Our immune system has the will to survive and was built to fight for our health. Our great responsibility is to honor and care for the body we have been given by our Creator. Our bodies house our spirit. The scriptures say, our bodies are not our own but are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV
In the book Herbal Home Healthcare, Dr. Christopher writes of a natural healing program for those patients who have been diagnosed with incurable diseases. One part of the incurables healing program involves gradual daily sunbathing. Dr. Christopher refers to the Sun is referred to as the “Worlds Greatest Doctor” and makes a case for why the sun does not cause cancer. He says:
“The Sun is the world’s greatest doctor but must be used by building up the exposed time in the sun gradually so as not to burn. Do not be alarmed by articles in national publications each spring, warning people to avoid sunbathing, saying it is cancer-forming. The sun cannot cause cancer. When you do not gradually increase the use of it but lie in the sun for long lengths of time and burn, certainly it is dangerous for it will cause severe toxic burn. But it is not cancer-forming. If cancer is already in the bloodstream and the body, the sun can ripen it and bring it to the surface, but that is the only way skin cancer can result from the sun.”
“Ask any Aborigine, Native American or member from any tribal area where only loin cloth, if anything, is worn. Although their bare skin is exposed constantly to the sun year around they have no cancer. If any of them develop skin cancer, it is because they have been eating a diet of modern processed food for a sufficient period of time to get the body into a toxic condition”
The question I have is why would our loving Heavenly Father create the sun to give us skin cancer? To the contrary, He created the sun to be a regular part of our daily lives. Our physical bodies {made from the earth} require daily connection with earth, sun and water.
Our spiritual being needs daily fellowship with our Creator through prayer and reading His word. In order to maintain overall good health and vitality, we must consistently Walk in the Spirit and practice self control over what we eat, drink and put into our bodies and minds.
“He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.”
Psalm 104:19-22 KJV
The Sun is Resourceful
How great is our God! He did not miss one detail when He made Creation. In addition to assisting in food and medicine production and providing us day light, the sun is capable of performing other amazing functions such as; providing energy, heat, electricity, preserves and cooks food, dries clothes and purifies water.
I haven’t actually tried using the sun for food preservation but I have seen the miracle of solar power, which is quite amazing! I have researched food preservation techniques and from what I can see, the sun is the perfect natural and free way to preserve certain fruits, vegetables and other foods. Historically, food and medicine preservation was a common manual process.
In our world today, we enjoy modern conveniences that make storing food effortless. In the past, people would have had to rely on the Sun to dry and dehydrate foods. Other preservation methods included the use of snow or ice for freezing, air drying, fermenting and canning. Natural preservatives such as honey and salt were also commonly used. {I elaborate more on honey in God’s Food & Medical System Part 2.}
We believe there is soon coming a time where the faithful remnant of Jesus Christ will once again need to know and understand the ancient practices of foraging and food preservation. At anytime, famine can come as a judgement of God through war, a destructive weather system or economic collapse. For those of us who will not bow the knee and take the Mark of the Beast, we will be locked out of this world’s financial system.
In the book Foraging for Beginners, the Author describes a time not too long ago, where humanity relied on foraging and food preservation to survive.
“Foraging was also used extensively by us during times of food scarcity. For example, during World War 2, poverty and hunger were rife in most parts of the world. Foraging is what helped many people survive those difficult times. Also during that time, important supplements such as vitamin c were not easily accessible as trade restrictions were imposed. Coffee was another item that had trade restrictions. The daily dose of Vitamin C was obtained by eating rose hips that were foraged and dandelion and acorn roots were popular replacements for coffee.”
Just 100 years ago, people all over the world experienced the reality of famine from the effects of World War 2. There are testimonies from survivors of World War 2, that continue to use manual preservation techniques and keep a food storage for “just incase”. These people understand complacency is unwise.
Aside from famine, in general, people back then and in Bible days lived manually. Before all of the modern conveniences we have today, people would have had to live in preparation mode, storing foods for the winter and depended on the sun, ancient techniques and resources from God’s Creation to store and preserve food.
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
Proverbs 22:3 KJV
Even if we never see famine in our lifetime, I believe we should still be good stewards over our Creator’s provisions. With gratitude we should do our very best to honor our Creator by preserving His ways and making the best use of all of the natural resources He has so generously given us.
The Bible warns us one day God is going to destroy Babylon. Comfortability, complacency and trust in this world’s system are the works of the kingdom of darkness. We must come out of the darkness and realize this world is passing away. Prepare now to reject the Beast System and learn how to survive without all the modern conveniences we have become so accustomed to. Persecution is coming. The Early Church gave up their lives to follow Jesus. Are we willing to do the same?
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 KJV
The Seed
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Psalm 126:5-6 KJV
The Seed Bears Life Within Itself
Throughout the entire Bible, from beginning to end, “The Seed” is a common theme holding both spiritual and physical significance. According to the King James Online Study Bible, there are 254 verses found in the King James Bible containing the word Seed. Spiritually and Physically, The Seed represents New Life.
God intentionally gave humanity a specific diet of only those herbs that bear seed and trees yielding fruit that also bear seed. Fruit that bears seed is fruit that bears new life. The seed bears new life within itself and each seed bears its own distinctive kind. In many cases, the fruit of a plant is also a seed as well. This regenerative cycle of plant life, is our Creator’s thoughtful way of continuing the life each kind and providing us with a consistent supply of living plant food and medicine.
For example, notice the picture of the open pomegranate with its seeds exposed. Those seeds could be eaten or washed, sprouted, planted and could grow another pomegranate tree {a genetically modified pomegranate seed however, will not be able to reproduce new life.} The same is true for the lemon or the orange seed, and so on and so on. There are thousands of different kinds of herbs and trees that bear seed. What an awesome God we serve! Not only does our Creator give us an abundance of different kinds of healthful plant foods and medicines to use and enjoy, He has also put seeds, or new life inside for germination and regeneration. Hallelujah!
I am no expert by any means, but I have been growing herbs for some years now and have experienced this miracle first hand several times. I have grown an avocado tree, an orange tree and three 7-8 foot tall lemon trees, all from the seeds within each fruit. I have also taken sprouts on potatoes and used them to grow new potatoes. I once heard someone say, the sprouts are the potatoes attempt to live again. That really stuck with me. It amazes me how at the very end of a potatoes life cycle, it produces new life so that it can live on. Ever since I learned the revelation of the seed, I have never looked at seeds in fruits and vegetables the same. It pains me now to throw them away. In a perfect world, I would replant every seed and have fruit and vegetables trees everywhere!
The same is true for the process of human reproduction and family lineage. Parallel to a plant seed, a man bears seed within himself. When a man procreates with a woman, he plants his seed inside of her and a new life is created. This new life would be “his seed” or his offspring. His offspring would be of “his kind” from his lineage. Through the process of human reproduction, various races of people, and family lineages are preserved and carried on.
When God created humanity in Genesis Chapter 1, He commanded them to be fruitful and multiply (procreate) and have dominion over the earth and every living thing. Just like plants, God created human reproduction for the specific purpose of procreation.
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:28 KJV
In Bible days, procreation and family lineage was much more respected than it is today. In our over-sexualized and perverted society, we have completely lost sight of our Creator’s intention for human reproduction. Seems we no longer value the seed as life or God’s intended purpose for the family structure. A few years ago, my youngest son and I were reading in Genesis Chapter 38 and came across this very interesting story that left us both stunned.
“And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. And Judah said unto Onan, go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.” Genesis 38:6-9 KJV
Yikes! I don’t know about you but this scripture really raised some important questions for us, like how does God feel about condoms and other forms of birth control? This very well could have been an isolated incident. Clearly Onan directly disobeyed God. But there are other related scriptures regarding spilling semen and nocturnal emissions. Considering semen is technically “offspring” it provokes me to curiosity.
“And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.” Leviticus 15:16 KJV
We live in a very sinful society that has perverted sex and God’s plan for procreation. Humanity has created their own rules for sex and reproduction. Have we considered that spilling semen and using contraceptives could potentially be sin against God? I am in no position to judge on this matter. Only God knows and those decisions are between each person and God. However, the Bible does forbid sexual immorality. Every time we engage in sexual immorality (sex before marriage, adultery, masturbation, homosexuality, etc.) we are operating outside of God’s will and plan for procreation and the family order that He intended.
True repentance and in many cases demonic deliverance is necessary in order to be cleansed and healed from the destructive and damaging consequences of sexual immorality {I speak this from personal experience}. The harsh reality is, every time we throw semen away, we are throwing away life.
The Seed Must Die
But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
1 Corinthians 15:35-38 NKJV
If you have ever planted a seed before then you know how exciting it is to finally see a sprout break through the soil. But have you ever considered what takes places beneath the soil before the tangible result of the sprout is seen? It’s a mysterious and supernatural process that only our Creator fully knows and understands. Just like the miraculous process of human reproduction, the process of plant reproduction goes far beyond the limits of human comprehension. In Mark Chapter 4, Jesus speaks to this mystery that only our Creator truly knows.
And he said, “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” Mark 4:26-28 KJV
Notice in the picture above, on the left side of the sprout, the blackish seed cracked open and falling off {maybe a sunflower seed?} That seed went into the earth whole. While in the ground through a secret process, the seed died and produced new life. The result is the green sprout coming out of the earth. Eventually the shell of the seed will fall off. The new sprout will grow into a plant that in time will produce fruit bearing more seeds and the life cycle is repeated.
In John Chapter 12, Jesus gives some insight on the mysterious process that takes place after a seed is planted in the ground. He reveals that the seed actually dies so that the life inside can live on. When a seed is sown in the ground and is watered, new life breaks free from within the seed, leaving behind the seed’s shell that once housed it. The seed itself has to die in order to produce a new life. Jesus uses this analogy to prophecy His own death and resurrection.
“And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.” John 12: 23-26 KJV
God values all life. It is not His will that anyone should perish but that all would come to eternal life through faith in His son Jesus. I thought it was interesting that a synonym for regeneration is resurrection. Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead, becoming the “first fruits” or the first born among the dead.
“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of them that slept.” Corinthians 15:20 KJV
Through faith in Jesus, we are spiritually born again in the physical realm but will one day will resurrect and dwell with him for all of eternity. In 1 Corinthians Chapter 15, Paul uses the process of plant reproduction to explain the resurrection of the dead.
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam {Jesus} was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”1 Corinthians 15:42-49 KJV
Our earthly bodies were born of our natural mother and father. But in Jesus, we are born again through the Spirit. Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh to reconcile us back to God the Father. He willingly gave up his physical life on this earth, to bear the sin of all of humanity for all time. Just as a physical seed must die to bring forth new life, the eternal Seed, Jesus Christ, died and was resurrected to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.
Jesus is the Seed of Life
The Promised Seed
“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Galatians 3:16 KJV
Our Creator wants us to understand the physical regenerative life cycles of human and plant reproduction. These processes not only display the omnipotence of God but they also point us to the spiritual regenerative cycle of being born again through the eternal seed, Jesus Christ.
Spiritually, Jesus is the seed of life who represents the fulfilled promise of God’s redemptive plan for humanity. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, the broken relationship between God and humanity is restored. When we believe on Jesus as the son of God and repent of our sins, we are cleansed and reconciled to God the Father and given the gift of eternal life.
God’s redemptive plan for humanity began even before Creation was established. Before God laid the foundation of the earth and before there was time and space, the Bible says God had already chose and predestined to adopt us as His children through salvation in Jesus Christ. This concept is unfathomable!
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.” Ephesians 1:4-5 KJV
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:26-29 KJV
Final Thoughts
Understanding the origin of God’s Food and Medical System and how it works, gives us a deeper knowledge and appreciation for our Creator. When we really meditate on all He has done for us, it should completely change the way we live our lives. We cannot truly fathom, nor will we ever be able to fully grasp in this lifetime, the wonderful works of God!
Thank you for taking a walk with me. I pray the information written in this post was insightful and edifying. I hope you will continue walking with me over to Part Two, where I expand on the foods, medicines and natural resources of God’s Food & Medical System.
Psalm 104
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, You are very great:
You are clothed with honor and majesty,
Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,
Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters,
Who makes the clouds His chariot,
Who walks on the wings of the wind,
Who makes His angels spirits,
His ministers a flame of fire.
You who laid the foundations of the earth,
So that it should not be moved forever,
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
At Your rebuke they fled;
At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
They went up over the mountains;
They went down into the valleys,
To the place which You founded for them.
You have set a boundary that they may not pass over,
That they may not return to cover the earth.
He sends the springs into the valleys;
They flow among the hills.
They give drink to every beast of the field;
The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
By them the birds of the heavens have their home;
They sing among the branches.
He waters the hills from His upper chambers;
The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.
He causes the grass to grow for the cattle,
And vegetation for the service of man,
That he may bring forth food from the earth,
And wine that makes glad the heart of man,
Oil to make his face shine,
And bread which strengthens man’s heart.
The trees of the Lord are full of sap,
The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,
Where the birds make their nests;
The stork has her home in the fir trees.
The high hills are for the wild goats;
The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers.
He appointed the moon for seasons;
The sun knows its going down.
You make darkness, and it is night,
In which all the beasts of the forest creep about.
The young lions roar after their prey,
And seek their food from God.
When the sun rises, they gather together
And lie down in their dens.
Man goes out to his work
And to his labor until the evening.
O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all.
The earth is full of Your possessions
This great and wide sea,
In which are innumerable teeming things,
Living things both small and great.
There the ships sail about;
There is that Leviathan
Which You have made to play there.
These all wait for You,
That You may give them their food in due season.
What You give them they gather in;
You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
You hide Your face, they are troubled;
You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.
May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord rejoice in His works.
He looks on the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the hills, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
May my meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord.
May sinners be consumed from the earth,
And the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Praise the Lord!
